Dr. Hsu graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Chemistry and Biology from the University of California, Irvine.  He then obtained his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hsu completed a residency in internal medicine at the Stanford University Medical Center. He went on to the UCLA Medical Center where he completed a second residency in dermatology.  He is board certified in both dermatology (American Board of Dermatology) and internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine).

Dr. Hsu has been practicing in Spokane since 1996.  He is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. He received the Shikany Teaching Excellence Award in 2020.

Dr. Hsu’s interests include treatment of skin cancers, general dermatology, and cutaneous manifestations of internal diseases. He was selected as one of  Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living magazine’s Best Doctors in 2010 – 2015 and 2021-2022 (Castle Connolly Top Doctors).
